Zoe is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Music Therapy, having graduated with First Class Honours in Music from Durham University. Originally from Hong Kong, she studied at Diocesan Girls’ School and holds both an LTCL Diploma in Violin and an ABRSM Grade 8 Piano qualification. During her time at Durham, Zoe was the sole recipient of both the Ramsay Burn Music Scholarship and the Eve Myra Kisch Prize.
An active performer, Zoe has served as concertmistress and principal in various orchestras, including the Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra, Diocesan Girls’ School Symphony Orchestra, String Orchestra and String Quartet, Durham University Symphony Orchestra, and Ponte Orchestra. She has toured internationally to Russia, Finland, Sweden, and Thailand, performing in world-prestige venues such as The St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, Finlandia Hall, Musikaliska, Turku Concert Hall, Durham Cathedral, etc. She was also invited by the Hong Kong government to perform at the celebration of the HKETO establishment in Bangkok.
Beyond classical performance, Zoe also performs in Pop music recording and live performances. She was invited to play in Hins Cheung’s The Prime Classics: Hins Live in London at Royal Albert Hall, Ian Chan’s Tears in my Sight Solo Concert at Asia-World Arena, and has collaborated with artists including Ivanna Wong, Serrini, Yoyo Sham, etc.
Zoe tailors instructions to each student’s abilities, aiming to build a strong foundation through a gradual and structured approach that helps them enjoy music and master technical skills.
