Introduction to the Dragon Year Festival

This year's Dragon Year Festival was an absolute blast! The smiles and laughter of children filled the air as they participated in various activities, with our music sessions being one of the highlights. It was wonderful to see the young ones dive into the world of music and movement.

Exploring Percussion Instruments

We introduced the children to an array of percussion instruments, each with its unique sound and rhythm. From tambourines to bongos, the kids eagerly tried their hands at everything. Not only did they enjoy creating music, but they also learned to appreciate the different tones and textures each instrument offers. This hands-on experience was both educational and entertaining.

Incorporating Movement into Music

One of the key aspects of our sessions was incorporating movement into music. The children had to recognize musical cues to perform specific movements, making the activity both fun and challenging. This exercise helped improve their listening skills and coordination, as well as their ability to follow directions. It was truly delightful to see them move in harmony with the music.

About Music Parade

Our music group classes, known as Music Parade, are designed for younger children to prepare them for future instrumental lessons. This course follows a structured curriculum licensed by Yamaha Music School, ensuring a high-quality educational experience. Through Music Parade, children develop a strong foundation in music, which will benefit them as they progress to more advanced lessons.

Conclusion

The Dragon Year Festival was a memorable event, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share our passion for music with the children. We look forward to many more such events and hope to see more young faces join our Music Parade classes. Together, we can nurture a love for music and help children discover their musical potential.
